Computer-use agents

UI gym: a cloned app where computer-use agents practise

Updated

A sandbox for agents that click and type, rather than agents that only write code.

Describe my environment

What builders say they make

One builder on the board says it has built hundreds of gyms that mimic popular software like Slack and Salesforce; another describes environments that replicate a Unix shell or a Salesforce CRM.

What a gym is worth

No page on the board states what one gym is worth. 8 of the 12 publish no figure at all on the pages the board holds, and the figures the others state are per task, per hour, a salary or a lab's whole contract, so a price for a gym is one to ask a buyer for in writing.

Before you build one to sell

  • Who owns the code and the task set afterwards?
  • Is the buyer paying per task, per environment or for your time?
  • Is there exclusivity, and for how long?

Describe the environment you have built

A short form on what it simulates, how many tasks it has and who owns it. A person replies, and your code stays with you.

The sandbox you built
  • No code is asked for: describe it, keep it
  • Every figure links to the page it came from
  • Rights questions raised before buyer names
